Geoff goes to Cairo.

This is Geoff's 2nd year as one of the EMAC Forensics coaches and this year the final tournament was held in Cairo at Cairo American College, a K-12 school. There were 5 other schools attending from the Middle East. Our school took 13 students to participate in the various debates . Although the focus is on competing for the finals, they also plan in some fun sightseeing. They were gone for 5 days and managed to get in a boat trip on the Nile and a trip to the Pyramids. I was choked that he saw the Pyramids without me, but luckily they didn't have enough time for a proper visit, so we will be going back! Here's some of his shots.

Thanksgiving boat cruise to Failika Island

We were invited out on a boat cruise to celebrate American Thanksgiving. The weather was perfect - calm, sunny, just the right amount of warmth, and clear. On Failika Island we walked around the deserted community and witnessed the abandoned cars and homes that were full of
bullet holes from the invasion. It must've been a bustling place at one time. A few companies try to lure tourists out there with a beachside burger stand and ATV's to burn around on. Here are a couple of amazing shots Geoff took on our cruise back into Kuwait.
